On this page I like to tell the story of Dexeq – in full Document Examination Equipment – and my passion for document authentication. After 18 years in the Royal Military Police, including a long period at Schiphol Airport, my fascination for document authentication arose. For the last 11 years of my career, I worked as a document fraud expert at the Expertise Center for Identity Fraud and Documents (ECID). Here I was responsible for establishing the authenticity of ID documents and banknotes. I was also involved in innovative techniques, process improvement and automation of border control.
At the end of 2011, I decided to take a new step and founded Dexeq. What started as an ambition to turn my experience into high-quality products and services, quickly grew into a trusted name. Today, Dexeq can count more than forty police and immigration agencies worldwide among its customers. The largest passport manufacturers also choose our equipment.
Dexeq is known as a trusted partner for government and industry. With a small, dedicated team of four people, we work every day to provide the best products and service for our customers.
In November 2022, I chose to separate Dexeq from its parent company AVDSolutions, allowing us to continue to grow as a manufacturer and (re)seller of document authentication equipment with new ownership and full focus on product development and sales.
