Built for document examination and high-resolution capture
The Image Access WideTEK® 12-650 is an A3+ flatbed scanner that combines visual, infrared and UV 365nm light sources, which makes it suitable for the examination of identity documents and other security documents. An ID-1 size document (such as an ID card) is captured with all light sources in approximately 20 seconds at 600 dpi; an A4 original takes approximately 50 seconds.
For standard scanning work the WideTEK 12-650 is fast: it scans its full 12.3 x 18.5 inch surface in under three seconds at 300 dpi and offers a 3D mode in 12 seconds at 600 dpi. Resolution goes up to 1200 dpi. The scanner has a scratch-resistant, non-reflective glass plate and runs on a built-in 64-bit Linux PC with an Intel i3 quad-core processor and 8GB of memory. Output formats include JPEG, TIFF and PDF.
